Describes logging and reporting of X.25 call clears that are initiated by the local BCC networks. The proposed requirements apply to X.25 Packet Switches, ISDN Packet Handler Functions, and Access Concentrators. Premature clears of X.25 packet calls will be monitored by logging occurrences of the X.75' Clearing Subnetwork Identification (CSI) utility. The format for this utility is defined in Section 3.5.4.6 of TR-TSY-000301; however TR-TSY-000301 does not include logging requirements. The requirements in this document would replace the requirements in TR-TSY-000301. The capabilities presented in this document will help to allow BCC personnel to monitor packet performance should help and improve responsiveness to customer trouble reports.
