TA NWT 001367 : ISSUE 1

Contains Bellcore's preliminary view of proposed generic requirements for the ISDN Calling Name Delivery & the Presentation of Calling Name features for Primary Rate Interfaces. ISDN Calling Name Delivery interacts with call control to send name information to ISDN Class II Equipment using the Common Element Procedures for Service Control. The Presentation of Calling Name feature are intended to allow the calling Class II Equipment to explicitly set the privacy status of the calling name to "anonymous" or "public" on a per call basis. These generic requirements are based on the requirements for the ISDN Calling Name Identification Services defined in TA-NWT-001326 & are intended to be compatible with requirements defined in TR-NWT-001187 Calling Number Identification Services.
