This TA specified proposed generic requirements for processing calls which apply Facility/Service Selective (FSS) options. With FSS options, a subscriber can dial a "number sign prefix facility code" (No.FC) and a "star prefix service code" (*SC) in addition to the 10xxx Carrier Identification (CIC) code and Called Address to assure the selection of a particular facility and/or service on domestic and international calls.
