Is designed to give a measure of the softness or handle of sanitary-type tissue, but it is not intended for use on towels or paper products having a prominently creped or embossed surface. TAPPI T 451 "Flexural Properties of Paper (Clark Stiffness)" describes another procedure suitable for these latter types of paper.
