    Objective of this method is to determine the coefficient of kinetic friction of corrugating medium sliding on a heated steel surface. TAPPI T 815 "Coefficient of static friction of corrugated and solid fiberboard (included plane method)" and T 816 "Coefficient of static friction of corrugated and solid fiberboard (horizontal plane method)" are directed toward measuring the coefficient of static friction of corrugated and solid fiberboard. Described herein is specifically directed to measuring the kinetic coefficient of friction of corrugating medium relative to a heated metal surface. A cleaned steel stock is used as the reference metal surface in this method.
