A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

Measures jitter tolerance (also known as jitter accommodation) in terms of the sinusoidal jitter amplitude that, when applied to an equipment input, causes a designated degradation of error performance. Jitter tolerance is a function of the amplitude and frequency of the applied jitter.
