9-POSITION NON-SYNCHRONOUS INTERFACE BETWEEN DATA TERMINAL EQUIPMENT AND DATA CIRCUIT-TERMINATING EQUIPMENT EMPLOYING SERIAL BINARY DATA INTERCHANGE
12-01-2013
Provides the flexibility of a new interface which specifies TIA/EIA-562 Electrical Characteristics which are capable of higher data signaling rates and being driven from a +/-5 volt supply. Applicable to the interconnection of DTE and DCE employing serial binary data interchange where a minimal number of control and information circuits are required. Also provides a solution to the problem of incorrect referencing.
