ISDN AUTOMATIC MESSAGE ACCOUNTING GENERIC REQUIREMENTS
01-01-1998
12-01-2013
Defines Bellcore's view of proposed generic requirements for ISDN AMA. It addresses one administrative aspect of an ISDN: the generation, assembly, and output of call details for billing and study purposes. The ISDN AMA feature provides the format in which information about services delivered to users is transmitted to a Bell Operating Company Revenue Accounting Office. It summarizes significant events for circuit mode and packet mode virtual calls and permanent virtual circuits. An individual record may contain details of a particular call or it may contain an aggregate count of events over many calls associated with a particular user for both customer billing and carrier access billing.
