GENERIC REQUIREMENTS FOR ISDN AUTOMATIC RECALL

Published date

12-01-2013

Bellcore's view of proposed generic requirements for Automatic Recall as an ISDN based service. ISDN Automatic Recall (I AR) is a service that enables an I AR customer to signal the switch to automatically return the last terminating call that the customer responded to with either an ALERTing or a CONNect message. If the recalled user is busy when ISDN Automatic Recall is activated, then the busy or idle status of the recalled user will be monitored and the customer will be notified when the status of the recalled user changes from busy to idle.
