Sorry this product is not available in your region.

Contains Bellcore's view of proposed generic requirements for an AIN 0.1 Switching System, which is a switching system supporting Service Switching Point (SSP) functionality. The SSP functionality enables the switch to recognize calls requiring AIN 0.1 service logic involvement and, in those cases to initiate a dialogue with a Service Control Point (SCP) in which the logic for the requested service resides. An AIN 0.1 Switching System (SSP) can also perform processing based on information from the AIN 0.1 service logic to perform an action not associated with any given call, e.g., to monitor the status of a line. An SSP can serve as an End Office (EO), Access Tandem (AT), or EO/AT. Also contained is Bellcore's view of proposed generic requirements for operations and functions in SSPs.
