SWITCHING SYSTEM OVERLOAD CONTROL GENERIC REQUIREMENTS

This publication contains technical requirements that form a quantitative benchmark on overload control performance and enhance the overload control requirements in Section 5.3 of the LATA Switching Systems Generic Requirements (LSSGR). One of the key proposals contained within this document is that the overload throughput should not fall below 90% of the engineering capacity if the first attempt overload does not exceed 30%.
