Provides Bellcore's view of the processes and guidelines by which suppliers of telecommunications equipment to the Bellcore Client Companies (BCCs) may obtain Common Language coding services. These services include the development and maintenance of CLEI codes, Continuing Property Records (CPR), and bar code label data. This document describes CLEI code and record equipment universe and provides technical information required for the development and assignment of these codes and records. It also provides forms for requesting classification and coding.
