Provides Bellcore's view of proposed additional information for interconnection of BCC Common Channel Signaling (CCS) networks with Interconnecting Networks (ICNs) to support internetwork calls originating from and terminating to an ISDN basic rate access interface. This document is a supplement to the information available in the Common Channel Signaling (CCS) Network Interface Specification, TR-TSV-000905, Issue 1, August 1989 and must be read in conjunction with that document. The additional material in this document describes: (1) the SS7 capabilities needed to support internetwork calls associated with the ISDN basic rate access, (2) the protocol supporting these capabilities and (3) the formats and codings of messages and parameters required.
