OTGR SECTION 11: GENERIC OPERATIONS INTERFACES: OVERVIEW

Contains descriptions of the four Sections in Section 11 of OTGR: Section 11.1, Section 11.2, Section 11.3, & Section 11.4. These Sections describe Bellcore's view of proposed generic requirements for operations interfaces between telecommunications Network Elements (NEs) & Operation Systems (OSs). In addition, an overview of the International Telegraph & Telephone Consultative Committee (CCITT) Recommendation M.30 on "Principles for a Telecommunications Management Network (TMN)" is presented. The generic operations interfaces described in this directory can be related to the family of interfaces designated in the TMN.
