The purpose of this standard is to provide the procedures and guidelines for conducting performance tests in the solar field of CCP-based solar thermal plants in order to determine their performance with the possible lowest level of uncertainty. This standard establishes the appropriate instrumentation and measurement techniques for the determination of the following parameters required to know the solar field efficiency:" Useful/available radiant solar energy" The net thermal energy of the solar field. This standard is applicable to solar fields of any size solar thermal power plants using CCP type concentrating systems, with the sun being the main source of energy, and having operative all the elements and systems of the part being tested.
