The purpose of this Part 4 of the standard is to define the characteristics that shall be met and the tests that shall be passed by the connection elements used in the separable connectors of the UNE 211028 Standard, used in underground distribution networks with cables with rated voltage up to 18/ 30 (36) kV.The designation of the preferred constructions of the accessories of this standard indicates the range of maximum and minimum allowable sections of each model. It does not imply that the accessory is designed to be used in all intermediate sections.This standard does not apply to bare conductor connectors and type RZ overhead cables (which have been designed with specific mechanical requirements).
