This standard describes a test method used in the laboratory or in situ to determine the value of the slip resistance of flooring surfaces for pedestrian transit using the pendulum friction test, both in dry conditions.This standard is compatible with the pendulum method of friction in dry conditions and is used 96 rubber slider; which is described in the annex C of the Technical Specification CEN/TS 16165.
