Defines the basic requirements for breathing tubes and breathing tubing cut to length, to be used with anaesthetic apparatus and ventilators, humidifiers and nebulizers. Applies also to ready-assembled breathing tubes and Y-pieces, also to those supplied as components and assembled according to the manufacturers' instructions.
