This draft European Standard specifies a test method for determining the (splitting) indirect tensile strength of cylindrical specimens of bituminous mixtures.
NOTEDetermination of the water sensitivity of bituminous specimens in accordance with EN 12697 12 is based on determination of the indirect tensile strength in accordance with this test method.
