UNE-EN 16783:2017

This European Standard provides the product category rules (PCR) for Type III environmental declarations (according to EN 15804) for factory made and in situ thermal insulation products. In addition to EN 15804, the PCR described in this European Standard:¾ðspecifies the declared unit to be used;¾ðdefines the default system boundaries for thermal insulation products;¾ðspecifies/describes the default scenarios and rules for defining scenarios for each of the life cycle information modules A-D. (provides guidance for the determination of the reference service life (RSL) for thermal insulation products) ;¾ðspecifies the way of declaring and reporting in the context of the product Standard.This PCR is intended to be used for cradle to gate, cradle to gate with options or cradle to grave assessment, provided the intention is properly stated in the system boundary description.
