Defines a procedure for testing, while subjecting to bending, the leaktightness and strength of assembled end-load-bearing double-socket joints of unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) allowing a maximum deflection of 3 deg. Applies to double-socket couplers with elastomeric sealing and locking rings for use with PVC-U pressure pipes.
