The particular requirements contained in this part of IEC 60364 apply to:
- circuits intended to supply energy for electric vehicles using the charging modes 1 to 4 as defined in IEC 61851-1
" protection for safety when feeding back electricity from the electric vehicles into the supply network
Inductive charging is not covered.
For the proper understanding of this part 722, its text has to be read in conjunction with Parts 1 to 6 of IEC 60364.
