The standard, substantially updated, specifies the requirements for road tunnel lighting installations in order to ensure the driver, both in daytime and in night-time, the entry, passing through and exit of the covered stretch at the maximum allowed speed, with safety degrees not lower than those of the pertinent road and in adequate visual comfort conditions.
