Descrive un metodo per la determinazione spettrometrica del ferro utilizzando la 1,10-fenantrolina. Il metodo è valido per la determinazione di quantità di ferro compresa tra 5 e 1000 mg/kg in gomma naturale grezza, nelle gomme sintetiche grezze, che non contengono cloro, e nei corrispondenti lattici. Concorda con la norma ISO 1657-86.
