A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

Stabilisce le caratteristiche essenziali degli apprestamenti e dei mezzi necessari e fornisce indicazioni di comportamento al fine della prevenzione degli infortuni per i lavori di posa in opera, manutenzione e rimozione di manti di copertura, nonché per l'accesso ed il transito eccezionale su di essi per scopi diversi. Si applica ai manti di copertura qualunque sia il materiale impiegato per la loro realizzazione e per fabbricati di qualsiasi tipo (vedere dpr 7 gen. 1956 n. 164).
