The standard clarifies and supplements the minimum requirements provided in EN 13067, related to the qualification of operators in charge to weld polyethylene and polypropylene components (e.g.: pipes and fittings), for the conveyance of fuel gases, water and other fluids under pressure using butt fusion and electrofusion methods.
