La presente norma è la versione ufficiale in lingua italiana della norma europea EN 13346 (edizione agosto 2000). La norma specifica metodi per l'estrazione, con acqua regia, di elementi in traccia e di fosforo da fanghi e prodotti fangosi. La soluzione risultante è adatta per la determinazione di As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Hg, Ni, Pb, Se, Zn e P mediante tecniche spettrometriche.
