Descrive un metodo spettrofotometrico per la determinazione del silicio totale in acciai e ghise con complesso molibdosilicato ridotto. Il metodo è applicabile ai tenori di silicio compresi tra 0,05 e 1,0% (m/m) in acciai e ghise solubili in una delle due miscele alternative di acido descritte nel metodo.
