Specifica quattro metodi per la determinazione dei livelli di potenza sonora del rumore ad alta frequenza emesso da apparecchiature informatiche e macchine per ufficio nella gamma di frequenza coperta dalla banda di ottava avente come frequenza centrale 16 kHz. Tali metodi sono complementari a quelli descritti nella UNI EN 27779. I primi tre metodi si basano sulla tecnica della camera riverberante descritta in 5 della UNI EN 27779. Il quarto metodo utilizza un campo libero sopra un piano riflettente come descritto in 6 della UNI EN 27779.
