La norma specifica il metodo di prova, i reagenti e la procedura da utilizzare per una prova di corrosione atmosferica accelerata con esposizione di 6 h ad una soluzione leggermente acidificata di 1% NaCl bisettimanale, seguita da un ciclo in condizioni di umidità controllata tra 95% e 50% UR a temperatura costante di 35 gradi C.
