Specifica un metodo di prova di filtri a portata totale di oli lubrificanti per motori a combustione interna, che consente di determinare la loro capacità a resistere ad una pressione statica prefissata come obiettivo, e di determinare la loro pressione di scoppio e il modo con cui avviene la rottura. Essa non si applica ai filtri per impieghi aeronautici.
