Specifica un metodo di controllo con ultrasuoni, ad onde trasversali, su tutta la superficie dei tubi senza saldatura per apparecchi a pressione, per la rilevazione di imperfezioni trasversali, secondo quattro differenti livelli di severità. Essa é applicabile al controllo di tubi di diametro esterno maggiore o uguale a 9 mm.
