Diese Norm beschreibt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des elektrischen Widerstandes von Staubschüttungen unter Verwendung von Gleichspannung. Sie ist vorgesehen zum Gebrauch bei Entwurf, Konstruktion, Untersuchung und Anwendung elektrischer Betriebsmittel zum Einsatz in Gegenwart brennbarer Stäube. Das Untersuchungsverfahren ist nicht anwendbar beim Umgang mit Sprengstoffen oder Substanzen, die ähnliche Eigenschaften haben.
