    Dieses Blatt von IEC 60454 3 enthält die Anforderungen für: - Selbstklebende Bänder aus Glasgewebe, - Bänder aus Zelluloseacetat-Gewebe mit warmhärtendem Kautschuk-Klebstoff, - Bänder aus Zellulose-Baumwoll-Mischgewebe, das auf der einen Seite mit einem thermoplastischen Material und auf der anderen Seite mit einem warmhärtenden Klebstoff versehen ist. Werkstoffe, die dieser Norm entsprechen, erfüllen anerkannte Anforderungsniveaus. Jedoch sollte die Auswahl eines Werkstoffs durch einen Anwender für einen besonderen Anwendungsfall auf den tatsächlichen Anforderungen für eine angemessene Leistung in diesem Anwendungsfall beruhen und nicht auf dieser Norm allein.
