Diese Norm gilt für Trockentransformatoren (einschliesslich Spartransformatoren) mit einer höchsten Spannung für Betriebsmittel bis zu 36 kV und mindestens einer Wicklung, die mit einer Spannung grösser 1,1 kV betrieben wird. Die Norm kann für alle Konstruktionsverfahren angewendet werden.
