Diese Europäische Produktsicherheitsnorm gilt für im Haushalt und ähnlichen Anwendungen eingesetzte Filter in beweglichen Betriebsmitteln, die aus einem Filterteil und weiteren Anschlussteilen (Stecker, Kabel, usw.) bestehen. Sie sind vorgesehen für den Betrieb in einphasigen Stromkreisen für die Anwendung im Frequenzbereich 3 KHz bis 148,5 KHz und von 1,6 MHz bis 30 MHz, für Bemessungsströme bis zu 16 A und Bemessungsspannungen bis zu 250 V Wechselspannung.
