The stipulations of this standard apply to steel bolts(fastening threads with a 60° flank angle) in highly stressed and high-strength bolted joints – in other words, for strength grades 8.8 to 12.9 or 70 and 80 –and with a frictional transmission of the working load which in all cases is introduced via the clamped components.
