The guideline describes the possibilities and measures to reduce emissions in systems for the mechanical processing of wood and wood-based materials (e.g. sawing, planing, dressing, milling, drilling, turning, grinding, brushing) and in systems for the surface finishing of wood and wood-based materials solid and liquid coating materials by means of spraying, rolling, dipping, flooding, pouring, powder coating, etc. including pre- and / or post-treatment (e.g. cleaning, activation with plasma, filling, drying, cleaning of machines and machine parts).
