The standard applies to the measurement of the wind vector and the virtual temperature with high temporal resolution, and to the determination of turbulent variables, e.g. in measuring tasks for the estimation of the dispersion situation regarding air quality for installations requiring approval according to BImSchG and TA Luft, in the monitoring of nuclear facilities and in many agrarian meteorological, forestry and general micro-meteorological questions.
