With the European directive on the deliberate release of genetically modified organisms (GMO) into the environment (2001/18/EG) and the decision of the Council of October 03, 2002 on guidelines to supplement Annex VII of this directive, monitoring for the supervision of cultivation and dissemination of GMOs mandatory.
