La présente Spécification Technique définit les critères de classification des matériels d'entretien des dépendances routières décrits dans le domaine d'application de la norme EN 15436-1, c'est-à-dire: fauchage et débroussaillage; taille mécanique des végétaux. Ces matériels sont montés sur porteur automoteur et sont destinés d'une part à faucher et broyer l'herbe et les broussailles et d'autre part à tailler les arbres, baliveaux et arbustes, des dépendances routières.
