L'objet de ce document est la détermination expérimentale des paramètres structurels d'un géotextile permettant le calcul du nombre de constrictions à partir d'un modèle mathématique présenté dans le principe de l'essai. Le domaine d'application de ce document correspond au domaine de validité actuel du modèle mathématique il se limite aux géotextiles non-tissés monocouche ou multicouches, dont la couche qui fait l'objet de la mesure est constituée de fibres ou filaments d'un même diamètre. Dans le cas d'un géotextile multicouches, la couche à caractériser est la couche filtrante.
