Le présent document fixe les dimensions principales des panneaux de signalisation routière verticale et de leurs supports, et spécifie les tolérances dimensionnelles. Les dimensions et écarts dimensionnels sont mesurés suivant la norme NF P 98- 533.Par contre, les variations dimensionnelles consécutives à des déformations d'ordre mécanique ne sont pas traitées dans le présent document, mais dans la norme XP P 98-530. Le présent document s'applique à la signalisation permanente. Le présent document s'applique aux panneaux de catégories SP et SD. Les dimensions concernées sont celles figurant dans les Articles 4 et 5 ci-après.
