    Gives a biological assay to assess the ability of a product to promote the growth of aerobic aquatic microorganisms in water for human consumption. Applicable to non-metallic product used in contact with potable water. Not applicable when potable water is subjected to heating before consumption. Covers principle, test premises, safety, reagents, apparatus, samples, test procedures, expression of results and test reports.
