Withdrawn
A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

Shock tests may be conducted by two alternative methods described here. Both yield approximately equal shocks. Method I provides means of creating reproducible shocks by defining machine, in Fig. 1 through 7, on which tests performed. Accommodates instruments up to 4 inches in width. Method II provides means of creating reproducible shocks by defining half-sine shock pulse waveform in Fig. 9. Accommodates instruments up to 10 inches in width. Applies to electrical analog indicating instruments in C39.1-1972, but may apply to other types.
