Covers power line carrier line tuning equipment connected between coupling capacitors and power line carrier transmitter/receiver terminals or to similar line-tuning equipment in a carrier bypass. This gives optimum transmission of carrier frequency energy. Power line carrier line-tuning equipment includes assemblies and materials such as: impedance matching transformer, tuning inductor, balancing transformer, tuning capacitor, inductance capacitance (LC) tuning unit, protective unit, filter and enclosure. Also applies to line tuning equipment used with power line carrier systems operating over power cables.
