This Standard specifies requirements for and desirable features of polyphase multifunction watthour meters of accuracy Class 1 suitable for installation outdoors and having time-of-use (TOU) energy and demand measurement and load profile capabilities. It applies to 3-element meters (for 4-wire systems) and to 2-element meters (for 3-wire systems). It does not apply to meters where the voltage across the terminals exceeds 600 V line-to-line.NOTE: This Standard also lists information to be supplied with enquiries and orders for meters (see Appendix A).
