Abstract - (Show below) - (Hide below)

Specifies the requirements for the design, construction and performance of electrically energized heat alarms, containing both detection and alarm facilities, that are intended for use in conjunction with smoke alarms.

Scope - (Show below) - (Hide below)

This Standard specifies requirements for the design and performance of electrically energized heat alarms containing both detection and alarm facilities. This Standard requires the inclusion of facilities within the heat alarm for interconnection with other similar units and smoke alarms. However, such an interface is not intended for connection to a monitoring service.
