This Standard sets out the requirements for the granting of a certificate to a person engaged in the supervision of welding and allied processes, including gouging and flame cutting, intended to form part of steel structures constructed in accordance with AS 1554, to designs in accordance with AS 1538, AS 3990 or AS 4100, and, where appropriate, to form part of other welded structures.
