Sets out the colour identification for personnel, vehicles and the forward operations centre that may be used, in a coordinated operation of emergency services, at the site of a major disaster. The Standard applies to clothing items such as overalls, arm-bands, and headgear worn by emergency personnel. The Standard applies also to the colour scheme for vehicles (except for police vehicles), flashing lights, and forward operations at the disaster site.

This Standard specifies the colour identification for personnel, vehicles and the forward operations centre that may be used in a coordinated operation of emergency services at the site of a major disaster.This Standard applies to clothing items such as coveralls, tabards, arm-bands and headgear worn by emergency personnel at the site of a major disaster.NOTE: The Standard allows for the standard uniform of the police, fire services and ambulance service to be worn for normal incidents. However, for coordinated operations, coloured tabards or arm-bands should be worn over the standard uniforms as an aid to identification.This Standard applies also to the colour scheme for vehicles, flashing lights and forward operations centre at the disaster site.
